Left: Proof I can't do anatomy Right: Proof I can't design characters
Critique as deserved. I already know what's horrendously wrong with these sketches, so don't tell me what I already know. Tell me how to fix them. And if the only thing you're going to say is "you drew her legs wrong," get used to living without a face because I will eat yours.
Ehh ok, not a genious at critiquing, but I can give it a shot So. The character is pretty well positioned in the sketch on the right and it is an overall well done pose. The leg on her left side is bent in kind of wierd. The muscle of her thigh should be positioned over the calf, rather than behind it. But if you were going for an inward bend, the foot would be pointed more inward and at a slant than towards the side. Her hands are off in that the left one is okay, but she seems to have no elbow. Maybe bringing the arm into more of a bend, rather than a front on view would match up with the position of the other hand. Or bringing it back just a bit more [perspective wise] and elongating the distance from her shoulder. The low position of the other hand takes a bit of intensity from the pose itself. Not to say that her hand should be up like high like a frikkin cheerleader, but maybe at level with her eye. So all in all it's just placement.
The sketch on the right. Once again, nothing wrong with position. Her arm is awkwardly thick at the elbow and kinda offs the slenderness of her upper arm. The body is ok. You've got the curves and proportions down and such. Now the other arm, from the placement of the hand seems longer than the other. With that it's just a matter of shortening the distance of it settling on the sword.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

"Your dad was in purple and floral?"
"Yeah, now he lives in a lonely apartment and no one loves him. Big surprise."
